The Radio of the Deaf App encourages Deaf accessibility to mainstream media.


The hard truth is that some 650 million people (1/9 of the global population) have a challenge with their hearing. Of that number, about 70 million are Deaf and are cut off from the wide range of benefits that are available through the medium of Radio.​Radio for the Deaf sounds like an oxymoron. After all, how can the Deaf take part in radio? Well, they can! The Radio for the Deaf concept allows the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to enjoy access to and actively participate in the most ubiquitous and popular medium of mass communications - radio.1.
